Floating Admin Menu ExampleThese floating admin menus are a real help when page space is tight in a layout. We want to give credit for the original concept (2 years ago now) to our good friend James Reggio.

By using Telerik's Rad Menu (or other Telerik Menu) you can turn off DNN's admin and host menus. This keeps them from blowing the page out too wide when someone logs in as admin or host on a tight page design.

By adding these floating menus to the skin (just a skin object), you have good access to the appropriate admin or host menu.

These menus require the use of Telerik's RadMenu skin object. They are W3C standards compliant and will pass validation.

Please find the documentation included in the resources sub folder included with the installer.

They work well with Internet Explorer and Firefox. We are still having some issues with Safari collapsing the menu inside the floating panel. They do not work well yet on localhost installations. A fix for that is coming as soon as I get a chance.
